hihi, this may come as good news for some (all?) - i am extending your eom deadline once again!

BUT

you still need to come to class on wed with the material you're intending to work on for your eom. i want everyone to submit a copy of the material. if it's not too long (eg online article, newspaper article, chap of a book, etc), pls make a hard copy for submission. if it's a book, i don't need the whole book but zap those few relevant pages. for everything u make a copy of, please write down the reference; follow the format in the handout on biblios i gave u. if it's primary data, type out a brief write-up describing the data, objectives, methods used and include whatever else u feel is necessary; if u actually have the data already, u can indicate that or attach samples.

u can still change the material if you want to but this is to force everyone to start looking and deciding on one. having said that, pls don't waste your time and mine submitting some random piece that you're not going to use eventually. if u genuinely cannot decide, let me know and at least give me a sense of some your options/alternatives e.g. a list of possible material, a biblio, a description of what you're looking out for, etc. essentially, everyone MUST hand in something on wed, got it?

any other questions, please ask. groups who are supposed to see me next wk, pls rmb your appts. groups who want to come by, pls tell me ahead of time; texting me at 0738 for a 0915 consultation the same day is NOT ahead of time.

the actual eom will be due in week 10 and i'll let u guys know in class exactly when. and btw, rmb to bring your giro option forms on mon. those who didn't receive it on fri, pls come by the wkroom to get it from me on mon. thks! spread the word.
